Trident Wolf Eclipse is the fifth studio album by the useless metalcore band Watain.
Like both its predecessors, Lawless Darkness and The Wild Hunt, this album Trident Wolf Eclipse is musically closer to the nu-metal of Korn and Slipknot than to the black metal of Phantom and Darkthrone.
Watain apparently attempted to infiltrate the war metal genre, made popular by bands like Beherit and Warkvlt, but fail lamentably as they are too poor musicians even for war metal.
Trident Wolf Eclipse has been attacked by jewish "anti-racist" organisations for the lyrics on the opening track: "Let the holocaust commence / Angel of the sulphur pit / Tread forth, from the gas cloud".
Watain has already flirted with NSBM in the past, their first demo being called Go Fuck Your Jewish "God".
