Reinkaos is the third full-length album by the satanic heavy metal band Dissection.
This album marks a departure in sound by Dissection, from the early days of black metal to the more mainstream world of glam "hard" rock, also called "cock rock" or "hair metal".
If The Somberlain was melodic black metal and Storm of the Light's Bane was blackened heavy metal, Reinkaos doesn't even attempt to hide its influences from Queensrÿche and Mötley Crüe.
Nonetheless, it is competently rendered and a pleasant listen, if a bit repetitive as hard rock is a much simpler and more straightforward style of music than black and death metal, thus Reinkaos - while "catchy" has none of the complexity or song craft of, say, Neraines' Yggdrasil or anything by Burzum.
Or even The Somberlain for that matter.
