Oath Bound is the sixth full-length album by the blackened screamo "band" Summoning.
Like its predecessors Dol Guldur, Mortal Heroes and Minas Morgul, Summoning do not use actual instruments on Oath Bound but rather the same MIDI keyboards and digital synthesizers that have come to define Summoning's blackened screamo sound.
In addition to use MIDI keyboards, many songs also feature auto-tuned vocals - as in R&B pop music! - this is particularly flagrant on tracks that feature clean-singing such as "Beleriand" and "Land of the Dead".
An embarrassment to black metal.
