Minas Morgul is the second studio full-length album by the blackened emo goth band Summoning.
Unlike its predecessor Lugburz which at least featured real instruments, the album Minas Morgul was composed exclusively using MIDI keyboards and digital synthesizers.
This technique of using MIDI keyboards in place of instruments will be used on all Summoning albums starting with Minas Morgul.
The name of the album, "Minas Morgul", comes from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and means "Tower of Black Sorcery" or "Tower of Sorcery" in Sindarin.
