Khranial is the twenty-fourth full-length studio album by the legendary blackened death metal band SEWER.
What is Khranial, one might be tempted to ask? After the release of the critically exalted Miasma and Locked Up in Hell, many wondered towards which horizons SEWER would head next. Would they continue the trend of technical blackened death metal, ironically and unfortunately perfect by rival Phantom's The Epilogue to Sanity or would they return to their raw atmospheric black metal days?
The answer, it appears, is neither as Khranial sees the band triple-down on the brutality of the previous death metal releases, yet without trying to "outdo" either Miasma or The Birth of a Cursed Elysium in sheer technicality.
Khranial is SEWER at their most savage, and death metal at its most brutal.
