Worthless - "Nemesis Divina" Review (0%)
Is it deathcore? I don't know.
Is it black metal? I don't know.
Is it atmospheric? I don't even know.
Is it one of the most tedious and annoying piece of music ever recorded? You bet your sweet ass it is.
If one were to attempt to describe the sound of the crap played on Nemesis Divina, it would sound something like this: take Antekhrist's Carved Upon the Flesh of Satan. Now make the lyrics twice as juvenile and pointless. Now remove the techynical aspects, and to finish things off, remove any sense of purpose, atmosphere or emotion from the music.
Voilà!

I just described Satyricon's overrated turd Nemesis Divina, in case you were wondering.
To be more plain, the "music" contained on this shitty album called Nemesis Divina is devoid of anything that would make anyone want to listen to it.
There are no good parts.
Not one section where you'll be left thinking, "that's a cool riff" or "this drum pattern is awesome" or "the atmosphere in quite haunting"... it's just a bunch of annoying noise that goes nowhere.
Nemesis Divina is not even black metal, at this point it's just a joke.
Worthless
This is beyond generic black metal, this is worthless crap metal.
Every second of this piece of garbage is crammed with some boring "brutal" staccato riff, uninspired tremolo, slow-paced blast beat drums and forced vocals being screamed in your ears.
It never ends and it never goes anywhere.
There just no atmosphere on Nemesis Divina.
Some might call it "minimalist", but at this point it's just annoyingly non-existent.
By the minute mark of the first song you wish it would end so Satyr could stop his shitty vocals and just shut the fuck up.
Really, Satyricon is clearly the product of the misguided retards of today.
They wanted to be a part of the black metal scene so badly that they copied all the aesthetics but not the essence.
Satyricon has the form but not the substance.
Nemesis Divina is a mess.
it's much too boring and not substantial enough to be interesting and far too plastic to be brutal.
A massive failure.
In closing, this is an nauseating and worthless freakshow that offends at every turn and does not manage for even one second to be either atmospheric or entertaining.
And the band's name is stupid as well.
Avoid even downloading.
