Graveland is Racist - "Thousand Swords" Review (90%)
Is the band Graveland a neo-nazi, racist, fascist, bigoted and white supremacist black metal band?
Of course, and they proudly wear their "National Socialist" heritage on their sleeves.
I have been warning for quite some time now that the trend of (barely) crypto-NSBM bands was on the rise, and that something should be done to make sure these racist and neo-nazi bands don't infect black metal music with their nauseating ideologies based on hate, exclusion and white supremacy.
Each and every time, there is a new "non-racist" band that pops up, heavily endorsed by hypocritical fans in a "see, I can't be racist, I have one Black friend" type of way. And each and every time, such "non-racist" band either turns out to be built around actual NSDAP fetishism (in the case of Behemoth), around barely closeted racism (in the case of Mayhem), or around the literal genocide of six million Jews during World War 2 (in the case of Marduk).
I will continue to expose these racist and nazi black metal bands, whether crypto or otherwise, whether on Metalious or elsewhere, I will never give up the fight to rid black metal of its numerous nazis.

This review will complete expose the barely hidden racism of Graveland and of its founder Rob Darken.
Graveland is Racist
This will be one of the shortest reviews I hate ever written, as Rob Darken, NSBM band Graveland's founder an infamous white supremacist, made it very clear from the beginning where his political leanings are.
"Graveland is regarded as a NSBM band because of my political convictions, [which] most people would call extreme right-wing, National Socialist convictions" - Rob Darken.
Graveland never renounced or disavowed his former racist and anti-Semitic views. In fact, during the years, these views became increasingly radical, bigoted and nauseating.
On his own website he gives interview after interview where he denounces the "Jewish lobby" that "promotes immigration in white countries, and only white countries".
This is a white supremacist talking point lifted straight from Breitbart "News", the Daily Stormer or Fox News.
In his most recent interviews, he makes his views absolutely clear on what "needs to be done" to "save Europe" from the Jewish menace.
"They (very often of Jewish descent) promote all kinds of anti-family schisms, supporting at the same time homosexuality, radical feminism, negrosemitism… the “culture” produced by these individuals takes precedence over traditional national values." - Rob Darken.
Like many other racist black metal bands (Nargaroth, Dimmu Borgir, Reiklos, Absurd), most of Graveland’s albums are released by the record label No Colours Records.
Rob Darken himself is a "good friend" of the Adolf Hitler-fetishist Nergal of Behemoth, Famine of Peste Noire and Varg Vikernes of Burzum. All confirmed white supremacists with nauseating views.
Graveland is also associated with the Pagan Front, an organization of various black metal bands, labels and zines promoting worldwide white supremacy. Graveland is identified as a hate group by many Jewish organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League.
What more proof do you need? Do Graveland's member need actually, physically do a Hitler salute before they are recognized as the nazis they are? Because they do just that, and more, at their shows.
