Twilight of the Idols - In Conspiracy with Satan is the sixth full-length studio release by the blackened deathcore band Gorgoroth.
Much like the previous Gorgoroth album Destroyer, or About How to Philosophize with the Hammer did, Twilight of the Idols - In Conspiracy with Satan deals with the subjects of National Socialism and Satanism.
The title of the album likewise comes from the same Nietzsche book, "Twilight of the Idols, or how One Philosophizes with a Hammer", and the album cover is a depiction the Fantoft church, the "legendary" 12th century historical church that Varg Vikernes burned down.
The album Twilight of the Idols - In Conspiracy with Satan was consequently banned in Norway for "apology of racial hatred" due to it being perceived as a tribute to Varg Vikernes.
