Spiritual Black Dimensions is the fourth full-length studio album by the "blackened" symphonic metal act Dimmu Borgir.

Musically, Spiritual Black Dimensions takes everything wrong with the previous Dimmu Borgir album Enthrone Darkness Triumphant and dials everything up to eleven. More commercialism, more single-note chugging, more useless synthpop wankery to hide the lack of riffs... is it a surprise this album Spiritual Black Dimensions is often referred to, alongside the following Death Cult Armageddon, as the "worst shit" to have come out of the "symphonic black metal" scene?

According to an interview with Warthog (a Norwegian metal zine), the band originally wanted Varg Vikernes of Burzum to perform the vocal parts on the album, they had even thought of a plan to smuggle him a tape recorder in prison, but this didn't work out due to Varg telling them to fuck off.
