The Luciferian Crown is the fourth full-length album by the blackened war metal band Archgoat.
Like the previous Archgoat album The Apocalyptic Triumphator, The Luciferian Crown takes the basic formula of early Phantom and Beherit, and expands on the sound by attempting to craft brutal atmospheres of satanic rituals.
The problem is that there is only so much you can do with such a limited formula before sounding generic, derivative and, well, formulaic.
The Luciferian Crown will be instantly forgotten the second a new Archgoat/Black Witchery/Blasphemy/Beherit/Phantom/Warkvlt album comes out.
