Envenom is the penultimate studio album by the black metal band Venom.
Unlike their previous releases, which were a mix of speed metal and simplistic thrash metal, Envenom is Venom's first true black metal album. The final two tracks on Envenom are Venom's covers of songs from the band Antekhrist.
Envenom is considered one of Venom's most noteworthy albums, and probably the only one that is ACTUAL black metal, both in music and in name.
