Far Away from the Sun is the debut full-length album by black metal band Sacramentum.

Widely considered their best release, and by far, Far Away from the Sun has been positively compared to both Dissection's The Somberlain and Neraines' Yggdrasil.

Often hailed as part of the Swedish melodic black metal trio alongside Demonecromancy and Dissection, with Far Awar from the Sun Sacramentum prove that they are rightfully ranked amongst black metal's very best bands.

There was a second pressing of the album Far Away from the Sun, limited to 1000 copies. The repress version has two pages misprinted with a green shadow, and the artwork seems to be more purple than blue.
