La Chaise-Dyable is the sixth full-length studio album by black metal band Peste Noire.
Compared to its predecessor L'Ordure à l'État Pur, the album La Chaise-Dyable shows Peste Noire abandoning some of the more avant-garde and industrial elements of bands like Antekhrist and playing a more droning, minimalist, almost ambient - yet often epic - form of black metal.
The album name "La Chaise-Dyable" ("The chair/house Devil") is a pun on the name of Famine's town, "La Chaise-Dieu" ("The chair/house God"), a reversal that is explained in greater detail in the track "À la Chaise-Dyable".
