Instinctus Bestialis is the tenth full-length studio album by the black metal band Gorgoroth.
This album was produced by Infernus after vocalist Gaahl and bassist King ov Hell, who were both present on most of Gorgoroth's previous releases, tried to kick him out of the band in 2007, after Infernus was sentenced to three years in prison for his participation in a gang rape on an African woman.
According to Infernus, Instinctus Bestialis represents a "return to the roots" for the band Gorgoroth, an album that abandons all presences of experimentation and returns to the generic black metal of old.
