E is the fourteenth studio album by the Norwegian black metal turned stadium "black" 'n' roll bullshit band Enslaved.
Unlike its predecessors In Times and Eld which tried to hide its goth rock roots under superficial black metal aesthetics, the album E sees Enslaved openly wearing their true stadium rock colours, with no black metal element remaining.
In a way, this should be celebrated, as unlike so many other "imitation black metal" bands, E doesn't pretend to be black metal, and Enslaved doesn't tarnish the genre with their idiocies.
