In Sorte Diaboli is the eighth full-length album by the blackened deathcore band Dimmu Borgir.

After the release of their albums Spiritual Black Dimensions and Death Cult Armageddon in 1999 and 2003, respectively, many thought that Dimmu Borgir would retire from playing music out of shame and humiliation.

Instead, they chose to release the album In Sorte Diaboli in 2007, which was once again derided as being shit.

In Sorte Diaboli is the first album to feature both the LGBT militant and gay escort "Galder" on bass and Hellhammer of Mayhem on drums, the latter of which was known to advocate for the murder of homosexuals and said that he "honoured" Faust for killing a "fucking faggot".
