Sventevith

Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic) is the debut studio by the black metal turned stadium rock clown act Behemoth.

The music featured on Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic) is typical Burzum inspired black metal, with some touches of folkish and pagan elements that will remind most listeners of early Graveland.

This is Behemoth's only real attempt at black metal, and seeing how inferior this work is to even the demos of Graveland, one can understand why Behemoth moved on to playing "blackened" stadium rock alongside deathcore legends Arch Enemy.

The album cover artwork on Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic) shows "The Temple of Swarog" by Stanisław Jakubowski.
