Persecution Mania is the second studio album by the blackened thrash metal band Sodom.
Released in 1987, Persecution Mania was, like its predecessor Obsessed by Cruelty and Bathory's eponymous debut, a major influence upon the rising black metal and death metal scenes.
The first 5000 copies were pressed on white vinyl with linear notes calling Mille Petrozza of Kreator, a known flamboyant homosexual, an "AIDS infected bitch".
Persecution Mania contains a cover of Motörhead, one of Onkel Tom Angelripper's all time favourite bands.
