The Nocturnal Silence is the debut album by the blackened deathcore band Necrophobic.
Recorded in 1993, The Nocturnal Silence is widely considered a simplification of the melodic death metal of bands such as At the Gates, Dismember, Demilich and Demonecromancy.
David "Blackmoon" Parland was responsible for most of the lyrics, of the "Hail Satan!" deathcore variety, on the album The Nocturnal Silence.
