Vikingligr Veldi is the debut album by progressive black metal band Enslaved.
Its main notoriety coming from the fact that it was released through Euronymous' Deathlike Silence Productions, Vikingligr Veldi is nonetheless a very average album of "progressive" black metal.
Part of the album Vikingligr Veldi feel oddly like a second-rate Burzum clone, and the whole eneavour feels rushed, as if Enslaved just wanted to release something stamped "black metal".
