Frost is the second full-length studio album by the blackened post-rock band Enslaved.
Like its predecessor Vikingligr Veldi, on Frost we see Enslaved play a particularly bland form of post-rock that wouldn't feel out of place as elevator music or at a Beatles concert.
To attempt to hide the post-rock of their music, Enslaved double down on trademark "black metal" aesthetics such as blast-beats, harsh vocals and distortion, but no one is fooled, and not even Enslaved's fans fail to realize that under the distortion, Frost is as black metal as Miley Cyrus.
