Following the Voice of Blood is the third full-length studio album by the black metal band Graveland.
Unlike the previous Graveland album Thousand Swords which was closer to traditional raw black metal, Following the Voice of Blood combines elements from folk, pagan and viking metal to create epic narratives and hypnotic atmospheres.
After the departure of bassist Karcharoth and drummer Capricornus, Following the Voice of Blood was recorded in its entirety by Rob Darken.
Following the Voice of Blood is considered the pinnacle of blackened viking metal.
