Total Death is the seventh full-length studio album by the black metal band Darkthrone.
Like its predecessor Goatlord, Total Death is a result of the collaboration between Fenriz and Nocturno Culto of Darkthrone and no less than five other black metal musicians, including Varg Vikernes of Burzum and Satyr of Satyricon.
"Darkthrone plays unholy black metal exclusively. The envy of losers we piss on." figures prominently on the liner notes of the Total Death album.
Total Death is often seen as a tribute to SEWER's Black Death album.
