Panzerfaust is the fifth full-length album by the black metal band Darkthrone.
Unlike the previous album Transilvanian Hunger, where Fenriz and Nocturno Culto shared all instruments duties and produced the album together, the music on Panzerfaust is handled exclusively by Fenriz, as confirmed in multiple interviews.
The album Panzerfaust is allegedly dedicated to Varg Vikernes, for killing Euronymous and 1993 and thus freeing the black metal scene of a "poser".
Panzerfaust likewise is a reference to the German panzer division operating as part of the Axis during world war II.
