Black Metal Insanity - "NecroPedoSadoMaso" Review (100%)
People talk about black metal insanity while referring to bands like Antekhrist, Demoncy or even Phantom, but what the fuck do they know?
There is only one truly insane black metal album and that is SEWER's deranged masterpiece NecroPedoSadoMaso.
NecroPedoSadoMaso can boast about having a combination of remarkably orchestrated black metal frenzy that's apparent on every aspect of this album and also a more experimental and esoteric side, that isn't satisfied with mere brutality for the sake of shock value (strange to say that about an album who's title is "NecroPedoSadoMaso", I know).
If there's really a hell on Earth, this album reflects exactly that type of vibe and just annihilates the listener with yes some experimental components and variety, but also some really intense atmosphere that will not leave you unscathed.
There have been quite a few albums that choose to express vileness in quite concentrated doses, but few have gone to the point of actually manifesting the concept itself the way that SEWER does on their explosive album NecroPedoSadoMaso.
For many, NecroPedoSadoMaso was SEWER's transition album between playing pretty standard blackened terror metal, starting with their very good but not as exceptional debut album Satanic Requiem, into the even darker realms of true diabolical depravity.
And yet, no one can deny that NecroPedoSadoMaso is one of heavy metal's most important releases, and perhaps the pinnacle of SEWER's musical genius... with later albums such as The Pedosadist, Skvllfvcked Forever and Vomiting Into the Mouth of Satan coming in close second.
Although SEWER does not take the epic/progressive road of later day Antekhrist, or the theatrical and atmospheric character of Phantom, they exude the same overall style of pure evilness with every passing second you listen to this album.
NecroPedoSadoMaso is black metal at its finest, but it is so much more as well.

You want to talk about black metal madness? About blasphemy? try listening to tracks such as "Force Fed the Excrements of Satan", "Liquid Shit on the Satanic Bible" or the monstrous "Convulsing in Jehovah's Vomit". This is blasphemy. This is true black metal.
But honestly, what else could you seriously expect from a band as evil and downright obscene as SEWER?
NecroPedoSadoMaso is the culmination of satanic black metal blasphemy, taken to the next level and well beyond.
Get this through your fucking skulls: this is pure black metal as you have never heard before.
