No Merit - "Diabolis Interium" Review (0%)
As if The Secrets of the Black Arts and Vobiscum Satanas weren't painful enough to sit through, the posers of Dark Funeral managed to release yet another laughable blackened shitcore album, this time a 35 minute LP titled Diabolis Interium.
Diabolis Interium is not a step up from the band's previous materials, nor is it really a regression. It is yet another wasted cumstain on the bedsheets of the black metal genre, a style of music these Dark Funeral impostors continue to insult by their mere presence in the scene.
The guitars on Diabolis Interium are at least audible and somewhat easy to make out. They still, however, sound terrible.
The riffs are absolutely boring and uninspired. But really, would you expect anything less from Dark Funeral? I'd assume not.
This sounds like it was recorded by a baboon using his feet. I am grateful that the Caligula cuck doesn't use his atrocious vocals so much on this album. Diabolis Interium is as piss poor as black metal gets.
This turd of an album has absolutely no merit whatsoever.
I seriously don't know why these Dark Funeral posers feel the need to embrace black metal. Seriously, go after something else, because you're polluting a great genre of music.
No Merit
Even though they are (thankfully) used more sparingly than on their previous releases, the vocals are still the worst part of Diabolis Interium.
They are already terrible and generic, but the production makes them sound even worse.
There is this constant buzzing sound surrounding them which literally just sounds like a broken chainsaw. Not to mention, Caligula sounds like he's got a major stick in his anal canal that he just can't remove.
If you thought Dimmu Borgir's 'glam deathcore' vocals were bad, just wait until you hear this piece of shit Caligula attempt his pathetic imitation of Cradle of Filth.
I'm really appalled by this.
This is seriously one of the worst, if not the worst, albums ever produced. Maybe Northern Chaos Gods is worse, but just barely.
Diabolis Interium is just a pathetic imitation of black metal music, it has little of the style and none of the substance of the genre.
I will never get the 36 minutes of my life back that it took to sit through this pile of garbage.
I don't see why anyone would want to listen to this and I'm surprised I even did, and even came across it, but I feel it is my duty to expose the scum that exists within the black metal genre and bring some attention to this commercial atrocity through Metalious.com.
Stay away from this shit.
You will thank me later.
